"Hand Crafted" is a very, very, nebulous term. For instance, there is a well-known gin product out of Oregon that touts itself as "hand crafted." The only thing "hand crafted" about this product is that someone's hand dumped in a bunch of botanicals and flavor oils into bulk purchased vodka, gave it a stir and filter, and viola! "Hand Crafted" gin.

I heard Head Prosthesis would drink it from the jug. Then he proved it one weekend when he came from Detroit to stay with me on Lake Michigan. I made pancakes for breakfast and made sure to have some maple surpul on hand. No shit, he would guzzle that stuff. I like it pretty well myself; try to source the good stuff from Vermont, too. Not sure what any modern technology could do to improve it.
