Well, the beginning of the video started with, "how does South Park get away with this stuff?" I don't think LeRoy meant to be racist but to ask the question, "how does South Park get away with this stuff?" I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt this one time. No reason to get the feathers up at the moment.

Not that I'm defending Leroy or anything. I just think some people need to slow down and hear things out first before getting immediately defensive and accusatory. There is a quick rush to judgement about some things and sometimes those judgements are correct but sometimes they are not. I only say this because I used to say things that some people didn't "get" right away and I had to explain and calm and smooth things over. So now I don't say anything at all. I'm practically a mute these days. I wouldn't want to offend anybody so I don't say anything at all. So those kinds of reactions to certain things is just as bad as censorship or the abolishment of freedom of speech.

My son is half African American! I didn’t think it was possible to offend people here. Especially, in the "Racist" Humor and General Stupidity thread. It was just a goofy, stupid, political cartoon!

They used to all be female names until someone complained sinister things shouldn't always have female names.

Let me get this straight: she actually wants sinister things to be associated with African Americans?

So do I, in the "how stupid can you get" category.

Complaining about that is a bit like complaining that your kinsmen (and kinswomen) don't get run over by trucks as often as White Anglosaxon Protestants.
