Greetings again, and thanks Abby DS, JP. I'm not sure how long it has been, 7, maybe 8 years.
Woke up one day and missed the old place. Looks like things have changed a bit in my absence, both here and at LFV.
I apparently fat-thumbed changing my image.

Thanks DS.
Love Ya Abby.
Pick a shitload of peppers
Smoke them on a grill over apple wood or whatever hardwood you prefer.
Bag them and freeze them.
When you have three gallons, smoke a few more Habs, and then thaw the frozen ones.
Add a pound of non-smoked habs.
Run them through a blender with garlic and a little vinegar when needed to keep it slushy.
Add salt and pour into a glass crock.
Let it ferment for ten days. Skim the white shit and discard it.
After ten days add juice of a lime, and put in mason jars. Hot pack for 30 minutes.
I have "Gigantor" Habs, "7-Pot" habs and "Carolina Reepers" growing in my spare bedroom for next year.
I'm going to make another batch this year if the frost doesn't kill the peppers in the garden.

Now I know I managaed to attach an image previously. WTF?
Slotted Manifold finshed.
I'm rusty.
I'm building a small scale brewery which will be able to brew batches up to 15 gallons at a time.
First stage of "All Grain" brewing is to mash grain with hot water to produce wort which is the liquid starch extract from the grain which gets made into beer by boiling with hops and then fermenting.
A slotted manifold is a section of tubing with slots cut in it toallow the liquid from the mash tun to be drained while blocking the main bulk of the grain in the mash.

Been busy at work taking on new responsibilities under a lot of stress trying to remember Integral Calculus and differential equations I haven't worked with in 35 years.
Stress got too much so I went Kayaking on the river and drinking massive quantities of beer.
Frost is about to kill the hot peppers, so I'm making hot sauce.
Red Kayak is me with my little buddy.
Oh, yea, I got the big D a year ago so it is just me and him now. At least I'm not pissed all the time now.
Pthttttttt
