Send your poster file to contests@phillipscollection.org with subject line “Toulouse-Lautrec poster submission” and up to 100 words about how your poster responds to the exhibition.

Presumably someone is going to "judge" the submissions.  If he can't tell without a hundred words of explanation from the artist, or no words at all, he isn't qualified to judge this sort of thing .....

You might be surprised how well old goat sausages are able to stand up to the heat.

It took me a while to figure out that the object at the bottom of the bottom poster was the head of a musical instrument.  At first I thought it was something more, ah, organic.  But after further reflection, I still think so.  Madam, may I tune your fish?

I had a similar thought and saw several versions. Absolutely organic and done with humor. It could have been done by a Warner Brothers cartoonist decades later.

I managed to see the exhibit, wander all throughout it and never notice the contest. I still don't see it. And I will never get it.
