I've been dying to see this but I'm not sure if it's worth the download. I can't imagine anyone being able to do the role of Peter Sellers justice. :vale:

Opinions?

It seems to be on HBO at least twice a day right now.
I haven't been able to see it from the beginning yet.
I'll see if I can catch it tonight and get back to you.
There's just too much time to kill between all my mistakes.

I saw about 20 mins of it the other day and I turned the channel. I really like Peter Sellers but the movie did not do him justice. ( or it may just be my severe lack of absinthe lately)

If I get a Christmahannukwanzaamas bonus I'll be picking up some new DVD's.

So far it's looking like, Dr. Strangelove, Catch 22 and What's Up Tigerlily? are on the list.

Saw it on HBO, ok more surreal (?) than an actual bio movie.

Learned that they wanted Sellers to also play the bomber commander in Dr.Strangelove. Glad they chose Slim Pickens instead....Yeehaw!

Yep gotta watch them English. They "knock out" girls, stick "torches" under the "bonnets" of "lorries"(sp?) and let's not even talk about what they do when they go on a "bender"!
