Tonight I tune into my favorite college radio DJ, and she's in a Joy Division mood so I'm treated to an hour of her picks. Gets me thinking, "Control" should be out by now. I check Moviefone and find out its playing in NYC, in the East Village, where I was for the last two days.

I have refined "oblivious to your surroundings" to an art.

Control was fantastic. I'll definitely be buying the DVD when it comes out.

I figured as much. Would've been nice to see it while I was killing time up there. We still have a couple theaters here that it may show up in, otherwise I'll be waiting for the DVD release as well.

Nah. The kids who play the band members actually learned the songs and play them very convincingly, and it's pretty much the same story that is in his wife's book. I thought it would be pretentious wankery since Anton Corbijn did it but it was great.
