It might be the weather. I have just woken up (dinner-siesta) but will not go the sleep until midnight or later and shall wake up again around 8-9 a.m.

I wake up in the middle of the night once or twice, either I must note something, drink something (water) or just to see what's the time.

I've got Sleep Apnea. I stop breathing when I'm asleep and wake up when my blood O2 level drops way low. Using a CPAP (Constant Pressure Air Pump) helps force me to breathe, but I still wake up several times a night. Most times I'm right back out in a minute or two. Occasionally I'll wake up enough to go get a glass of water, milk etc and then back to bed. Bad nights I stay awake for hours when I wake up.

St. Hildegard of Bingen advises puttin' aniseed/star anise in a linen cloth and havin' it near you when you're going to bed. It brings dream, silence and relaxation.

I have proposed it my Mum-it has worked, so might help others as well. And it prevents from nightmares' dreaming, too.

Thomas Alva Edison favored short catnaps during the day and 4-6 hours sleep at night. He opined that sleep was a waste of time. But then, he favored hard-work over alcohol to produce a state of tiredness.

I sleep well. Produce little. Drink whenever feasible.

I don't have trouble getting to sleep, just staying that way for a good 7hrs.

Last night I was asleep within 15 minutes of lights out. Woke up at 3, 4, 5, skipped 6 and woke up finally at 6:55 just before the alarm went off.

I cannot sleep when I am aware the alarm will ring. I usually wake 10-15 mins before and count until it rings or turn it off and it is very frustrating.

If I am know what time I am supposed to wake up-I will do so, no matter what had happened the day after. I value punctuality in the matter and I am never late. However, if it is very early, I need a caffeine-kick to start functionin'.

Man, it's been a really long time since anybody posted on any forum the question "Hey, I heard the Desert Dwarf Hobbitroll has some good Absinthe, should I order from her?" That question used to pop up on FV like once a week.

Now most people are like "Who the fuck is the Desert Dwarf Hobbitroll?"

Still trying to sell Absinthe.

I have obtained from Spain, some FULL LITERS OF Vintage Pernod Fils de
Taragonna. A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF CORKED, SEALED FULL LITER Pernod Fils de
Taragonna IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH LABELS are now available, SO PLEASE
EMAIL FOR PICTURES, DETAILS, AND PRICE. Pernod Fils Tarragona was made in
Spain WHEN PERNOD MOVED THE FRENCH DISTILLERY TO TARAGONNA, SPAIN following
the absinthe ban in France in 1915. PERNOD FILS OF TARAGONNA, we believe,
was the identical recipe as the French Pernod until the early 1960's and is
very similar in taste, color, and impact to vintage French Pernod Fils
absinthe. This is only the second cache I have found in 8 years and I only
have a few bottles left.

For a very limited time, I, also, have ĎAbsenta Escatí Spanish vintage
Absinthe available. This absinthe. in a corked and sealed bottle with
vintage label, was probably made between 1930-50. The samples are sold in
individual shots, which are $45 for each shot. Shots will only be sold to a
customer if a regular size bottle of any absinthe is purchased, as well.

The Absenta Escat, like the Pernod Tarragona is a gorgeous, dark amber color
like most vintage Absinthes (due to the chlorophyll green color disappearing
over the decades) and has a complex, yet smooth flavor and a potent impact,
quite similar to the original vintage pre-ban French Pernod. Pernod de
Taragonna and Absenta Escat, as well as other vintage Spanish absinthes,
were produced with the same turn of the century recipes for decades as SPAIN
NEVER BANNED ABSINTHE!

She used a similar line when she tried to sell me an ouraline pastis glass for 450.00. "I've only heard of six of them in my whole life. I don't even know if any more exist."

Since then I've collected 8 of them, each for about 35 euros.

And still do not like people smoking when I am around. Boozy's healthier and at least has a taste, flavour, etc. Tried smoking wormwood, same xit, but tastes much better than nicotine.

liqueur tobacco - much better than smoking tobacco.

I tried really hard to start smoking when I was younger because I found these beautiful perfumed purple cigarettes. I thought they looked very posh at the end of a long black filter. Fortunately, they tasted horrid so I was saved from a really bad habit.

i don't know...

I quit in 73 and am damn glad I did. I don't know if I would have the willpower to do it now.

Back on sleep. I am having problems with my CPAP, or with my sleep apnea any way. I seem to be exhaling through my mouth and just letting the pump run. Not good. I either need a chin strap or a full face mask I guess.

I've been waking up five or six times a night again. Less if I drink, More if I don't.

Either pull the chin strap
on your crash helmet tighter
or
trying fitting your jock over
your other head.

Seriously, that would scare the bejeebers outta me.
My eldest was born prematurely and this is a common occurence with preemies. We bought a monitor and spent lots of sleepless nights. Well, he needed to feed every 45 minutes anyway, so mom never got to sleep in any case.
Does the cpap dry your mucus membranes? Small price I guess.

What if you put the jock over your head
and had a constant blowing on the other one?

Might not help.
Certainly wouldn't hurt.

Yup, mouth is totally dried out in the morning.

Tastes pretty foul too.

I am personally impressed
At last.
Kirk is a blast.
Let all his doings be blessed
His Art I do trust
And others' less and less
I do not have to-I must.

See? Ya gettin' it.

Circle? I am a geometrics-phobe. Prefer something real and visible. Abstract in a sense.
