Missed the Willy Nelson show last night, it sold out five months ago. He opened with whiskey river, they even served on the side. I hate that I missed that one.

Music? I will always love the soundtrack to "The Sound of Music".

My musical tastes are shameless. At least half of the things listed I enjoy. My tastes are too eclectic for shame to even enter in the picture - my CD collection has the Lion King soundtrack next to the Metallic black album, Coltrane next to Greenday.

Looking through my 2 min. Wax Edison cylinders, one that came with the machine from 1905.
It has two guys (Collins & Harlon) doing a Vaudeville routine, (In Blackface) the jokes are so bad you have to wince when you hear them.

It's so awful, but fascinating to hear something almost 100 years old.

I had a buddy over to the house yesterday and I hooked my ipod to the stereo on random.
For some reason it played every one of my secret shame songs one after the other.
I almost had to shut it off when "My Sharona" came on but I couldn't, I just had to listen. I just love that piece of crap song.

Try the 2 minute version by Pete and Wayne. They play regularily at Sloppy Joe's in Key West. You can find their link and sample their music at Sloppy Joes web site
