Felix- 3.5:1 makes it nice and smooth...

Swizzle Rouge is some of the best stuff I've ever tasted. At 3:1, it's intense, complex and very satisfying.. and of course, I'm almost out of it. (well, I'm out of it all the time, but that's another story)



So far, I've only taken it up to 3:1.. which yields the gripping taste of Swizzle with the smoothness of Emile Blanche. I can't wait to try the Pignon et L'Epee!

Swizzle LB is a great HG! Gotta git me some more before I run out.
The wine base is what makes it so good.

Swizzle Rouge is the shit. The one I have is 75% grain alcohol and 25% grape spirits, and it is still good. I have not gotten a handle on the Felix, but I like it strong and alpiney. Take it to 5:1 and all you get is liccorice.

The Felix sure sounds good, I need to get my hands on some of that!

Felix ranks up there with the worlds best HGs. Way better than anything the Princess of Paranoia has to offer!

Creaminess is often due to an absinthe containing at least some alcohol that was rectified from a previous batch.

Felix not contain rectified spirit. Felix et Swizzle has 100% grape/wine spirt base.

I had heard that DeNiro was into absinthe, but I had no idea he was an HGer!

Which one is it? Grape or wine? or is it a mix of both...

The base, c'est Grappa, HG eau-de-vie, et Brandy. A mix of all three.

Mine was an R&D batch anyway... the regular Felix has no grain alcohol, that much I know.

I like it very much. Felix is good, but Swizzle is different.

And sometimes different is good!

Jack is good, but Bater Boy is different.

Not to keep at this but what I like about Felix, the Crafter, is this... I contact him, he asks "what do you want?", I basically have a choice of 4 different HG's and BAM! it's here relatively quick!
