does anyone have any recommended sellers? i am considering absinthevertrieb, but ive seen many posts stating that shipments sent from Germany are more succesiptible to customs seizures as opposed to shipments from spain. is there any truth to this? so far i am also considering Fine Spirits. any other suggestions or experiences with aforementioned sellers ?

First of all, I would commend you to spell check. We are particular about such things here.

I have had no problems with either absinthedistribution.com (aka Markus, aka absinthevertrieb) but apparently he has had a number of shipments destined for Southeastern states seized of late. I have never heard of anybody having a problem with Spirits Corner, although their shipping time is long.

I would also recommend absintheonline.com (aka Liqeuers de France). They have very fast and very guaranteed delivery (usually 3-4 days) and they sell the best products on the market.

Eabsinthe.com is another good vendor. The selection is very limited but the shipping is quick.

SpiritsCorner has a growing selection, and they stand behind every order, although as previously mentioned, it can take a while for shipping.

Markus' shipping is quicker, and he definitely has a good selection. However, I've heard of quite a few (and experienced a couple of) missing or intercepted shipments.

Liquers de France is great - good product, quick shipment.

Absinthe Authentique is top notch quality, just be prepared to wear your patient hat! (It's well worth the wait and the pricing!)

We've sorted out the seizure problem... Can't tell you more here on the board.
