Plastic is OK for very short term storage. Just buy some airplane nips, drink them, and refill them w/ absinthe. The Container Store also sells different kinds of 2oz bottles, and even sells bottle sealing wax. Even got the swanky flip top ones:

Amber glass is good, to keep the sun out of it, try
here. You have to but in small quantities, though ... but at $8, it ain't bad.

Since you are in the Minneapolis area, stop by Magus Books. They have a bunch of amber bottles in various sizes.

I just get bottles in a pharmacy.
They usually have (white or brown) glass bottles of 60cl/2oz and 100ml (these can usually hold 115ml/4oz).

On the serious side, thanks for the links folks. I put in a small order at SpecialtyBottle. That way, I'll have some small bottles for sending samples to friends and trading with people. I should have them before DCLF, which I'm trying to attend.

You could try Nalgene bottles. Nalgene is a speciality plastic that is impervioius to most chemicals. Self-gasketed 8 ounce brown Nalgene bottles are available for $0.50 from a scientific cupply surplus house.

I ordered a combination of 44 2oz and 4oz glass bottles with caps for $32 including shipping. Not bad. 8 oz is more than I envision sending to people as samples. If I'm trading with one of you folks, I can always use more than one bottle if I need to, or use a sanitized 12-oz beer bottle and my capper. I have all sorts of large bottles that I use for bottling home brew beer. I just needed to add some things on the smaller side.

Hey, remember about the Mayor's share when you're filling up those sample bottles you just ordered.
I thought that applied to people that actually made stuff themselves. Not to mention, I don't have a damned thing he hasn't already probably had 100 times. Unless you count the unopened freebie bottle of Ulex Regular my parents got along with their purchase of a bottle of F. Guy. Who would want either of those 100 times?
But, I'd consider sending something he might be out of, if I happen to have it. I need to see what I have at home.
PS And I plan to send something to LF04, even if I can't make it.

There is nothing wrong with a bottle of Ulex. Seriously. You just have to make sure you don't drink the stuff! So far, I've been successful at not drinking it.
Unfortunately, in 90 years, I don't think it will be worth anything, regardless of the ullage and label condition.
