The only peep I've heard from Ned in the last year or two w/ the word "Jade- the only REAL Burnt™ absinthe" in it was the bottle of Nouvelle Orleans reviewed in Butty's book. That bottle and one other bottle seen recently appear to be "production bottles", not "lab samples."

Why there are a few "production bottles" circulating, complete with a printed review, but there is total silence surrounding the origin of those bottles is beyond my comprehension.

What-ev. The lab sample I tried was after I was familiar w/ Nephilim & MM's early HG, as well as vintage Tarragona, and I thought it was damned good and tasted closer to vintage than anything else I'd tried. BaMa and Felix's creations are every bit as good as Ned's, but I think Ned's tasted the closest to the vintage.

When you get to that level of awesome absinthe, there's really no better or worse, only different.
