I've got a friend going to Paris tomorrow, and I've asked her to *ahem* bring me back a few bottles. Besides CO shops like Phil's, does anyone know where I can direct her?
A.B. Normal
To the Czeckerland Republic.

I hear the stuff there make you Trip Balz™
DrinkSlinger
This has been asked before at feeverte. Unfortunately Paris is not absinthe central. Most frenchies still look down their snoot at you for asking absinthe "absinthe"... There was mention of one shop, you'll have to do a search at feeverte for the name and addy (or else PM Pierreverte).

I recall the selection being rather slim (ie. comparable to any online vendor).
Sponge Bob
I remember something about Roy's Cave, but it might have been a Czeckerland hallucination.
Bumpferret
I heard Markus Absinthevertrieb roar
that place.
DrinkSlinger
Yer speakin' gimpanese.

Thank you.
That song is now going to be in my head the rest of the night.

And 25 hours later, it migrated to
my noodle.

Damn it all!
A.B. Normal
A cruel fate, it is.

Although you can go to Smuttty's, to the Vagina thread, and replace that with another song, thanks to JP.
Bumpferret
As long as it doesn't have to do with
carrots, handbags and/or cheese.

That would be next.
A.B. Normal
Nope.
No carrots, handbags, cheese.
You're safe there.

Good info Pierre, but unfortunately she already returned...emptyhanded. Thanks anyway.
Rimbaud
I got somethin' for her hand...
CelticGent
is it bigger than a breadbox?
Rimbaud
Nope.
dawny
is it at least like a baby's arm holding an apple?
DGLeadbetter
Nice Tubes reference right out of the gate ....

I'm liking this girl ... I really am.

DG
CelticGent
yeah, but you say that about all the chicks, happy harry hardon.
DGLeadbetter
Don't you mean happy hairy hardon?

DG
dawny
ewwww. it shouldn't have hair on it!!! ewwwww
DGLeadbetter
Sorry ... it rubbed off from my palms.

DG
CelticGent
no. Pump up the volume.

DJ=Happy Harry Hardon

another reference to the baby's arm holding an apple.

you eeeeeediot.
DGLeadbetter
*AHEM*

I got said reference.
I chose to expand on your reference in another direction.

Good film, by the way. I still think Slater and Nicholson should do a father/son film.

DG
CelticGent
no need for a different direction.

the harry/hairy correlation was intended, that's why it was pointed at you.

Sincerely,

Hairy Reasoner
