I have a Mac and I love it. It's a G5 running OSX and the thing is a beast...never crashes. And it's got...
Oh damn.
There I go gettin' all geeky.
Let me save CG the trouble of throwing a snappy rip my way:

PC's are for tech geeks. Macs are for everyone else (ie: people who use computers as a tool, not a reason for living).

See, here I thought it was the other way around. I have less trouble with my PC (nicknamed Sir Crash-a-Lot) than a buddy has with his Powerbook. He can't get the damned thing to do jack. Took him 45 minutes to get it working with the projector for a presentation, even!
PCs these days just seem to require a whole lot less screwin' around to make em work.

I use both types, they are just fucking computers, they both crash and breakdown about the same.

That's only because I don't know your "buddy."

My Powerbook G4, which I'm typing this on has crashed twice in the 2 years I've owned it.
I've never had to call tech support, and every program I've ever run and every peripheral I've connected to it has worked on the first try.
If the guy who did that (admittedly very funny) spot couldn't figure out how to turn off his mac, he's a dumb fuck. See, there's this thing called the POWER BUTTON...
I love my Mac.

All computer's are evil. They are the spawn of Satan created to mask the evil that is lurking around us. I hate computers. I quote Loner -- "This is my last post"

If memory serves me right, he escaped from his wheelchair, hopped on a crotch-rocket, and became Rain-Dog. I might be wrong, but at least I am wrong with a giggle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not for all tech geeks -- I hate PCs with a vengeance, except when they're running a flavor of Unix/Linux.

my iMac g3 locks up all the time while i play porno clips. i get all these "you should allocate more memory" type errors. fuck it.
the good thing is nobody bothers to write viruses for macs, so even though i supposedly don't have any memory to run the stupid virus software, i don't get any problems.
i was running NT on my dell at work, and although nobody supported and you couldn't get any apps for NT, the thing locked up maybe once in 3 years. course it was at work, so i wasn't dowloading porno clips, but i did run regular video & thousands of mp3 downloads....
oh, and Porky, if the iMac locks up, the power button on the front doesn't do xit. usually i have to hit the restart button on the side of the machine. if that doesn't work, i DO have to unplug it.

Unix and Linux are flavored? Do they have grape?
