I bought a group of old liquor labels about 2 years ago, and just found them again. Can anyone give me a little more background on them, the reason I bought them was for the "Absinte Suisse" label.

It seems all the labels have a running theme of people making treaties with other nations ... but they are all liquor labels .... I've talked to three "experts" and so far no one knows squat about them. I'll send a pick to the masters of the board.
