Hey where are the rest of the photos? Hiram?
What did you folks think of the ADN? It went over very well at the MWLF.
I'll see if I can get my wife to e-mail me my pictures here at "work" so I can resize and post them.
I, for one, really enjoyed the ADN Montpellier. It had a very well balanced flavor and a smooth, pleasant mouth feel. A little fruitier than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. This could easily become a regular absinthe for me.
Hellboy was, as I've said many times already:
idiosyncratic. There is still much mystery surrounding its provenance, as I'm sure its maker wanted to toss it out there to see what folks thought of it before taking the credit/blame. Whatever the strange, coniferous flavor was, it was very interesting. I think it would be more succesfully employed in smaller quantities. As it is, the first thing you think of is Lysol.
The the Princess of Paranoia #2 I found quite good, but unremarkable.
BaMa is BaMa. Of the HG's, it, Swizzle and Pignon pretty much top my list.
The new Swizzle with more wormwood was very, very good.
Nemesinthe #9, I remember that I enjoyed it a lot, but that came in with several others that I drank in rapid succession, Tornado something, something Puta, I don't know. There were a bunch. So I can't say I remember much about its characteristics. This isn't to say it wasn't remarkable, only that I was suffering from self-inflicted brain damage. They were all good.
The vintage 1953 LB was probably the highlight of my evening (aside from watching Abby react to the cool night air). I'm not sure if it was just extremely well-crafted, or if it was the aging, or a combination of the two, but the stuff was awesome.

The lower right pan was for grape-based alcohol, but somebody drank it while no one was looking.
