WHAT I REMEMBER

I gotta tell ya ... when I saw the car pull up with Sponge Bob, AB and Cros ... it was one of those magical moments. I almost started getting weepy because it was finally here ... all of the postings, the barbs, the witty banter came to this. Real live people. It was much more than I expected.

Instant bonding.

We got to the Six (the motel, not the penguin) and dropped off my baggage and fired up the vintage. Very nice, and what a great way to start the night. So now it was time to go to the party. We all got in the Sponge mobile and headed out. I think it was close to 7:00pm, and still light outside when we arrived at ground zero.

I had the best time meeting everyone ... Jack, Gassy, Fluffy, Balz, Dinky, Skeeter, The Mayor, GreenGenes, Green & Cloudy Hiram, Verbal (hot little wife you got there, Verbal), Trainer, and of course via phone: Lambchop, Raindog (who was such a mess he never stopped yakking while the phone was being passed around), and Peeps. I was so bummed I didn't get to talk to Rimmy or CG, oh well, maybe in July.

The food was AWESOME!!!! Huge BBQ'd tri-tip, smoked Steelhead, sautéed Salmon, a pasta bar, bread, chocolate covered strawberries and cake. Oh yeah, there was some absinthe there, too.

I had 12 glasses over the course of 9 hours, and to be honest, I don't remember all of the stuff I tried, there were a few new exceptions.

The Urine: Good stuff! My first of the night I think .... REALLY liked that.

Grappasinthe: Awesome ... can't say enough good things about this.

Swizzle LB "SE" (Special Edition): By far my favorite of the LCLF.

Green Waterworks ...can't recall which .... but I remember it being awesome. So good, I got a bottle to take home.

Butty's LB ... yadda, yadda yadda ... whatever. Didn't do a thing for me.

Pinchy Puta: Very nice ... I could have drunk a few more, but Trainer was making mer nervous and I had to move.

HellBoy: A sick joke by sick people.


So here's some of my first impression of the whole Hee Haw Gang in the order I met them (more or less):

DGLeadbetter: Fuckin' Monkey ....

Sponge Bob: Quite possibly the nicest guy you'll ever meet (next to me). Very genuine and just fookin' nice. Love this guy.

Crosby: I thought he was gonna punch me in the nuts, but the moment we looked each other in the eye, he gave me a HUGE bear hug. We became brothers.

AB Normal: What a sweetheart ... definitely one of the "roses" in a Lounge full of "thorns." Any chick that can hang with a bunch of losers like us for a lost weekend deserves props. Even more props for getting to the party early. Can't hold her absinthe for xit, though.

TrainerAZ: Actually, a really nice guy. He was awesome till he had his 35th glass. Now I don't want to sound queer or nothin', but I think unicorns kick ass.

Jack: I'm still not 100% sure it was him. I think he hired a stand in. All night long he kept saying, "Fuckin' DGLeadbetter ... I can't believe it, the xit slinger." Damn funny guy, and damn smart too. I like him. I'm kinda glad his wife wasn't there on Saturday ... I didn't need any bite marks.

DrinkSlinger: Absolutely NOT what I pictured. He's a cool guy, and to put up with all the abuse from the Mayor and Cros, he tough, too. We share the same first name, and I like this cat. You know why? .......

Balz: again, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Totally unassuming. When he was telling his jokes, I almost peed my pants. Didn't get to spend too much time with him, but I like him.

That's all I'm writing for now ... I'm tired and need to chill for awhile. I'll post more later .... Don't worry, I'll get to the rest of you sick fucks.

It really was a fantastic time. Too many HG's to choose from and I only wish I could have sampled all of them.

I got way too, way too.....

But I was still standing at 1:30 when my ride arrived.


Oh yeh, there were people there also.

Seriously, It was fun and I did enjoy meeting and putting faces on the people from here. Everyone really was nice and no crotch punches came my way!
