Dear customer,
We have received very often requests to introduce a very special absinthe in our range. And this absinthe was a real Swiss La Bleue absinthe. Up to now we could not find a reliable source, since this absinthe is made black in hidden farms in Switzerland, and farmers will not sell it to anybody.
Well, finally, after trying for months, we have found our way out and we can proudly announce that you can find real Swiss La Bleue absinthe -
http://www.spiritscorner.com/scriptsing/bu...IdProducto=4153 - at our site. You can find it here.
This absinthe is very rich in flavours and aromas. I will not say if it is the best or not, but for sure it is among the richest and tasties absinthe that I have ever tried.

What's stranger? The idea of "black" absinthe or the notion that swiss farmers are opposed to commerce?"

If absinthe is black, does that make it Filterated Czeckerland Xit?

Forgive my foolish statement. Of couse being black does not make it Filterated Czeckerland Xit. Being crafted from adulterated ElectraShave, now that makes it Filterated Czeckerland Xit.
TheGreenOne
Apr 20 2004, 06:59 AM
and being dilluted and overpriced makes it Butty's.
TheGreenOne
Apr 20 2004, 07:00 AM
which means if you dillute Sebor and sell it for $200/bottle you have Butty's ElectraShav.

I wouldn't trust my tender skin to that concoction, I'd rather shave dry with 40 grit sandpaper.
TheGreenOne

Shave? You don't shave with Butty's finest LaBleu™ ElectraShav. You drink it to savour the lovely, delicate THUJONE!!!-this stuff has nothing to do w/the buzz from absinthe, NOTHING!!!!-this stuff has nothing to do w/the buzz from absinthe, NOTHING! flavour.

I even tried the "iron your balls" technique that someone at Fee Verte mentioned. They wrinkled back up after a few hours.

You should have tested that technique on a nice Sharpei puppy, before you subjected your scrotal sac to such torment...
But hey, it's YOUR scrotum!

Apr 24 2004, 03:14 PM
Butty's LB #2 may vary from batch to batch because of uncontrolled secret watering techniques. Er... I mean it's made by a farmer working in uncontrolled conditions.
Bottom line, Butty's LB is never worth $200. IMHO no modern absinthe is ever worth $200.

It didn't do that much for me, it was okay, but not the revelation everyone made it out to be.
Now there were others from this side of the pond, that were a different story.

I admit that I am still a novice at absinthe so my opinions should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, compared with a lot of the commercial 'blanches' that I have had the BW #2 was really good.....
Fluffy G
Apr 25 2004, 01:25 PM
The problem is the more ya get into absinthe, the more commercial absinthe starts to taste like poop.
