Last time I saw him he was being kidnapped by a bunch of guys that looked like Tom of Finland models.

He and I were the only ones that showed up at The Cuff (Trinity bailed at the last minute). We pretty much started at about 2:30 in the afternoon and closed the place out. Dude, the bar was a nightmare (for me, anyway; Jack was lovin' it.) We didn't have to buy one beer all night! God, we were a mess.

So all these Daddy-types are getting attached to the two new boys and acting, well, a lot like TrainerAZ was Saturday night: hanging all over us, chatting us up. What a hoot! Jack was eating up the irony of it all and just kept drinking more and more beer even though I think he was stilll drunk from the night before. While he's starting to do the comeraderie-male bonding thing with his new buddies, I'm starting to get kind of nervous because it's was getting close to closing time. If you've never been to a gay bar at closing time, let me tell you: it ain't pretty.

So the short of it is: I get up to call a cab and Jack, in his inimitable Sarcastic Jack fashion, says "I'm going home with my boys, here." Ha Ha, says I. But when I get back to the table, he's gone and so are the Village People. He never did come back. I waited 25 minutes. You coulda knocked me over with a feather.

So I get home and Trinity says Jack's S.O. called and sounded kinda nervous about him not being home yet. What the hell am I gonna say? We got four more frantic phone calls last night/this morning.

Things do not bode well for Jack's butt.

I don't think it's wounds that's getting licked. I'm pretty sure he's alive, but he'll probably be in for a good ass-kicking when he gets home.
