One of the girls from work is going on vacation to Paris in a couple months and asked me abut hotels, cool stuff to do, etc. So I thought I'd ask you all.
Here's what she wants:
Decent hotel (with it's own bathroom)
Cool non-touristy stuff to do
Places to go
Can you help a sistah out?
Thanks!

Tell her to visit the Caves du Roy and bring back a lot of Absinthe.

Chill. No kidding. Most tourists spend all their time rushing from attraction to attraction. My advice would be to spend at least one day just hanging out in cafes or walking around aimlessly. No meal should take less than two hours and the evening meal should last at least three or four.

do a search, there can be alot of deals on good hotels at the same price as average/not-so-good ones....

The Hotel Septieme d'Art on the Rue St. Paul is good. 70 Euros a night. It's small, but each room has its own bathroom, and it is in a great location in the 4th Arrondissement. Directly across the street from where the Marquis de Sade used to live, and pretty much everything is within walking distance, including the Metro, Bastille, Louvre, Notre Dame, etcetera...
There's a great creole restaurant a few doors down that has cajun food so good you'd think you were in New Orleans.

Do they have a Motel 6'er in Paris. I was very impressed with the one in Everett.
