Never did get to try one of those brownies. Alot of the food mysteriously ended up in the trash can before I went back for seconds.

Yeah, that was pretty bizarre.

Somehow around midnight someone decided all the food must go.

Hmmm. I may have to try that recipe with some hab peppers heated in the oil before adding to the rest of the mix. I bet it would be real tastey.

The brownies were tasty (I managed to grab one on the way to the trash), but I would have still liked a tri-tip sandwich and some of those chocolate covered strawberries around 1:00 or so.

The Hab Brownies turned out pretty well. I used 1/2 of a dried hab, ground up and added to the 1/3 cup of oil before adding the oil to the mix. I used corn oil, and microwaved it to help get the flavor out of the habs.

The resulting brownies are on the verge of being too hot. That is to say, I'm the only one in the house eating them.

I've got the last one at work for a snack later this afternoon.
