Introduced someone to absinthe tonight.
He had a glass of the Guy, followed by a sip of the Pinche Puta and a little of the all new Pinche Gringo.
He is now prepared for LoucheFiesta.

I had the Pinche Puta, the Pinche Gringo and a few pints at the pub.
And now I have to go to bed.

Since today is my last day at work ... I'm leaving at noon, going straight to the from the Land of Bogs Pub for lunch and then drink the afternoon away ... we've got two wonder watermelons on order. It's going to get real ugly ... real fast.

One of my best friends is getting married and I am here at his bachelor party. Pussies... it is only 0410 amd they are all asleep.

Tonight, I had Chartreuse Green, several beers, 4 glasses Festivus and some others. Still wayyyy to sober... but that can be changed.
CelticGent
well, made a quick bus stop last night.

made the old lady an amaretto & coffee last night.

made myself a turkey & coffee.

it buuuuuurns!

Just had a Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic. It was tart and tangy like a cranberry. Almost a bit too sweet but not quite. Overall I'd say it was pretty good. That's about the extent of my tasting review. I'm not as experienced in the tasting review department as Absomphe. I guess I just need more practice. I'm gonna have another.

Oh and who the fuck is this crowbabble person that is fouling up the forum with the inane chatter about logansfils and having rocks in the mouth when speaking? (His spelling is way beyond what the Sixer can correct. His spelling in way beyond anything rational for that matter) What the fuck is that? I haven't been here in a couple days...damn real life...so I missed out on all the fun.

Oh and who the fuck is this crowbabble person

who cares.
Le Gimp
MOst names I read the way they are written. Occasionally however, I will read a name and it does not register correctly.

For example, Raindog comes up Randingo.

Crowbaba comes up Crybaby.
Absomphe
That's because he is one. blbl.gif
Absomphe
If the foo shits... blbl.gif
TheGreenOne
I belive that should read, "if the foo xits..."
Absomphe
What happened to the automatic translator?

Did the Mayor take it with him? post-6-1069831687.gif
A.B. Normal
xit xit xit xit xit!

(nope...it worked for me)
Absomphe
Fine, I'll just make sure to type a damned "x", instead of an "sh" next time, dammit.

xit.
Absomphe
xit xit xit
Grey Boy
xit works,

but not the shits
Absomphe
Now, me too!!!

Must've been a warp in the cyberspace/time continuum.
Absomphe
The shits don't work for me either...

They leave me with a sore Aresehole.gif
Grey Boy
xit
shitty
shits
shithead

it only changes the sh-it, not it's variations.
Absomphe
Man this topic really ends up xitty, when it's too early to be drunk...

Time to consider today's poison.

Perhaps some '98 Old Millennium, from Diminon.
Grey Boy
I just got a cream soda from the vending machine.
This stuff looks, smells and tastes like xit.
This is truely horrible, there is no beauty to be found in it.
TheGreenOne
Next time go for a Dr. Brown's cream soda.
Rimbaud
I like cream soda, but root beer is the absinthe of the soft drink world...
Kirk
Do you mean because like absinthe real Root Beer is illegal?
Absomphe
Since when?

Homebrewing has been legal since 1973, and I certainly brewed my share of alcolic rootbeer, in the 80s.

You mean I was in violation of the law? laugher.gif
Off. Jack Batemaster
Kirk is probably talking about Sassafras. It was banned like Wormwood.
Kirk
That alcolic stuff used to make you cry.
Absomphe
Sassafras is illegal, too?

What a country! I think people were a lot happier when everything consisted of opium, and cocaine, suspended in a high alcohol base.
TrainerAZ
I don't need to worry about what to drink . . .

It's LOUCHEFIESTA ! ! !

Two hours til I pick up the rental car . . . then another 1.5 til I pick up Emmy and the absinthe bread pudding (made with Pseudosinthe, of course) . . .

Then up to Abby's with some Pseudo and WF, where Abby will have assorted LDF stuff, a dirty whore, and I believe Butty3?

WOOHOO!
TrainerAZ
. . . but I'm not allowed to bring music.

Abby was horrified hearing what I've found on my hard drive. Andrews Sisters, Nine Inch Nails, Godsmack, a perky little number called "Sex Dwarf" by Scooter wtf.sml, some Metallica, Portishead, Quarterflash, Nickelback, Julie Brown, Ozzy, and, most shocking of all . . . OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN! ! ! ("Physical" was a vulgar little number, almost as bad as "Sex Dwarf.")

I've no idea where Sex Dwarf came from, or the lovely tune from Pile of Heads. But, whaddya gonna do? That's what absinthe bread pudding is for. Makes sense of it all. Drunk.sml
Absomphe
Today's poison is Halloween Ale from De Regenboeg Brewery of Belgium. Unlike American pumpkin ales, which tend toward the wussy "strength of 5-6%, this stuff clocks in at a whopping 10.5%, and is bottle conditioned...I've had it for 2 years now, so it is well over 11%, but it's really smooth...very pumpkiny, but seeds are used as well, giving it a dry, rather than sweet profile. It has a medium body, and a tangy finish...over all, I'd say it's my favorite pumpkin ale .
Maldoror
Hennessy V.S.O.P. and Segarra on the menu this evening.
Absomphe
Hennessey, and Segarra, sound like they might might make a killer cocktail together!
TheGreenOne
How could anyone not like the Andrews Sisters?
A.B. Normal
It was Sex Dwarf. Not the Andrews Sisters.
TrainerAZ
My thoughts exactly!

But I've never had a punkin ale.

But I've seen a punkin ail. Didn't water it enuff.
Off. Jack Batemaster
What kind of fag are you? Sex Dwarf is by Soft Cell. I assume whatever song you have is a remake.
TrainerAZ
Apparently, not as good a fag as you. I just screw guys, I don't live the whole life like you do! laugher.gif

It doesn't sound like Soft Cell to me, so it must be a remake. Sounds a little more recent, say 1990-93 or so.
TrainerAZ
Hmm, but the file name itself sez Soft Cell, not "Scooter." That's the name Windows Media Player put in as the artist.

Maybe it's just a 90s remix?
Off. Jack Batemaster
All of those statements are somewhat true. Leatherman.gif
TrainerAZ
Of course you'd know this song! (self : fish.sml)

It was your wedding song, right?
Off. Jack Batemaster
No.

P2P users often misname files. Freakin' teenagers think every piece of britcom is Monty Python and every black comedian is Chris Rock, including Richard Pryor.

Saturday night and the wife out of town (she's in Jacksonville). I'm just drinking the house brand and resting up from a busy work week. Might as well hang out at the lounge. . .

Last night, with Green & Cloudy:

Swiss La Bleue, Swizzlé, Pignon et l'Épée, Segarra 68, Serpis, Ulex. The Ulex I had to try for science; the Serpis I was giving a second chance. Serpis and soda was nearly bearable, but the Ulex got spit right the fuck out and sinked.

Sober weekend and fairly sober week. Been busy as fuck, guess it is breeding time....

Did toss back a sixer of Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot barleywine style Ale. Little hoppy for me and tasted NOTHING like the GB's fine barleywines. Spent 45 minutes in the largest liquor store in the state looking for barleywine and it turns out that was all they had:( Did pick up a nice bottle of Grappa though -- Banf (I believe) and that is quickly turning into one of my favorite sippin' drinks.

Oh, yeah, and I got bit by a "pet racoon" repeatedly last night. I came within seconds of kicking the little xit square in the nose when the owner threw a towel over it and threw it in a trash can until I was done.

WILDLIFE DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS (and neither do monkeys. sorry DG)!
Le Gimp
Damn bad weekdend.

Friday night I racked a batch of beer to secondary and taseted a sample. Crappy Pehnolic/bandaid/medicinal flavor.

Ended up crapping my brains out till 5am. Time to dump a batch of drain cleaner.

Had a glass of C-Sinthe Fraday nitght before the purge began, and a second glass Saturday for dinner since I decided I shouldn't drink or eat anything with carbohydrates in it as it will feed whatever is living inside my lower intestine.

At 1.5 to one C-Sinthe starts louche. It progresses to a hazy thin louche at 3.5:1, the farthest I diluted it. It begins with a slight off flavor (kind of a bitter earthy flavor), this is then followed by Fennel asserting itself at a moderate level and finally finishes with a slight flavor of anise.

Secondaries are low, which is unusual for me.

Overall impression is - Not bad. I'd take it over Sagera, but not UELB or UE68. It would be interesting to try for eye-openers, but I drank all of the sample I had.
TrainerAZ
3/4c of the latest replaced an equal amount of water in chocolate cake.

YUM!

(Much tastier than the bread pudding . . . Sorry, Emi!)

So, I'm sure it'd be deeeelightful for eye-openers, as well.
