Eyes Hole, I like that.
No , it will not be me .
I deny it.
I will never die.
Or , when I do,
It will not matter , in that way.
TheGreenOne
I would hope you're not operating anything more dangerous than a computer right now or in the near future. Also, make sure to keep your credit card in your pocket and stay away from the porno sites.
CelticGent

Don't forget the pork rinds.
sixela
Following up on a picture in another thread...MM#30.

It's an accurate description of how the time of day and the moonman are affecting how I see the tender document...
Raindog
Looks normal to me.
Raindog
Scotch algonquins taste a lot like watered down scotch, who's fuckin recipe is this. Maybe if I add a couple ounces of gin...
Le Gimp
Sourdough pretzels instead. The Pork Rinds are getting old and I need a change.
Nepenthes
3 glasses so far tonight. Unusual for a week night.

Started with an ADN Lyon prototype. Good, but bottled way to early. Followed by Felix. Thank you for the trade! Now I am on to ADN Pontarlier #2. Vast improvement!
Raindog
Back to the old stand-by, when the beer's gone and I'm tired of mixing the terrible drinks that my head thinks will go great but always taste like xit theres always the dirty martini.
Raindog
Sideways is still forward, theres a coyote in the yard. I'd let the dog out on the bastard but I know I'd never catch up with him, then there's the neighbors.
Nepenthes
My favorite stand by is the Sidecar! 2 oz. brandy, 1 oz. triple sec and 1 oz. lemon juice. Best made in 6 drink lots!
Raindog
And yes they are still there, I heard the fuckers milling about when I was in the driveway. Theres no ring around the moon tonight but the geriatrics remain. I don't like 'em but I'm civil, I wave and shout hello. They must disapprove of people in their underwear, fuckin' snow birds.
Louched Liver
Hunter S. Raindog.
Raindog
Look, there's two women fucking a polar bear!
Raindog
One frozen burrito in the stove while I shovel a few more martinis down
Louched Liver

Raindog
Fucker, you made me check.... yes it's on.
A.B. Normal

Tonight I am having the best tasting beer of my life. Just a Deschutes Black Butte Porter, but you know that first beer after a rough day?

Good beer.
TrainerAZ
Tonight, I'm having homemade chocolate-chip cookies made with Trader Joe's chocolate chips (no artificial anything!) and 1/2 whole wheat flour, accompanied by hormone-free skim milk. I gots enuff hormones of my own.

Better than beer. Not better than some beverages, but better than what's here.
Kirk
Today I'm drinking water.
I have company coming though.
I think they will corrupt me.
I will have to pace myself
if I keep starting before noon.

Bert Grant's Imperial Stout. Not that Imperial at 6%abv, but at 22oz not too bad.

I hear his IPA is practically undrinkable, it is so hoppy. I will try it out someday.
TheGreenOne
If its hops you want, go for an Organoleptic Hops Transducer. Flows the beer through freshly packed herbs.

I wonder how it works with wormwood.
Masque
Oh god. zygi.gif

I like IPA's but that is a bit much. That leads to a new question!
Le Gimp
I hope that was done as a joke. I can't see how the beer would stay in contact with the hops long enough to do anything but pick up shreads of hop plant material. zygi.gif
Absomphe
I haven't seen Grant's IPA in years...it used to be about 70 IBUs, but it used a pilsener malt, so the bitterness was pretty pronounced.

Nothing on the order of fresh Old Crustaecean, from Rogue, though.

I'm sippin' a 2001 Poseidon Imperial Stout, at the moment. DAMN..it seems to have actually gotten hoppier in the last 2 and a half years. Still huge malt, though.

No joke. RFD in DC has one.

Me thinks I should go check it out.

Check the Sehome Haggen.
Absomphe
I'l do that...

I tried the alleged Imperial Stout. Grants just isn't the brewery it was 20 years, when their stuff was still cutting edge. They just never evolved, like some of the other Northwest micros have, especially Fish, and our own Boundary Bay.
Raindog
Six beers down and my final glass of 5c, next up is Schlichte. I'm trying to decide whether to send my spare cash to Burn for the damascus stiletto or doing the "smart" thing and send it to Portugal. Heres the Burn....
