I would hope you're not operating anything more dangerous than a computer right now or in the near future. Also, make sure to keep your credit card in your pocket and stay away from the porno sites.

3 glasses so far tonight. Unusual for a week night.
Started with an ADN Lyon prototype. Good, but bottled way to early. Followed by Felix. Thank you for the trade! Now I am on to ADN Pontarlier #2. Vast improvement!

Back to the old stand-by, when the beer's gone and I'm tired of mixing the terrible drinks that my head thinks will go great but always taste like xit theres always the dirty martini.

Sideways is still forward, theres a coyote in the yard. I'd let the dog out on the bastard but I know I'd never catch up with him, then there's the neighbors.

And yes they are still there, I heard the fuckers milling about when I was in the driveway. Theres no ring around the moon tonight but the geriatrics remain. I don't like 'em but I'm civil, I wave and shout hello. They must disapprove of people in their underwear, fuckin' snow birds.

Tonight, I'm having homemade chocolate-chip cookies made with Trader Joe's chocolate chips (no artificial anything!) and 1/2 whole wheat flour, accompanied by hormone-free skim milk. I gots enuff hormones of my own.
Better than beer. Not better than some beverages, but better than what's here.

Bert Grant's Imperial Stout. Not that Imperial at 6%abv, but at 22oz not too bad.
I hear his IPA is practically undrinkable, it is so hoppy. I will try it out someday.

If its hops you want, go for an Organoleptic Hops Transducer. Flows the beer through freshly packed herbs.
I wonder how it works with wormwood.

Le Gimp

I hope that was done as a joke. I can't see how the beer would stay in contact with the hops long enough to do anything but pick up shreads of hop plant material.

I haven't seen Grant's IPA in years...it used to be about 70 IBUs, but it used a pilsener malt, so the bitterness was pretty pronounced.
Nothing on the order of fresh Old Crustaecean, from Rogue, though.
I'm sippin' a 2001 Poseidon Imperial Stout, at the moment. DAMN..it seems to have actually gotten hoppier in the last 2 and a half years. Still huge malt, though.

I'l do that...
I tried the alleged Imperial Stout. Grants just isn't the brewery it was 20 years, when their stuff was still cutting edge. They just never evolved, like some of the other Northwest micros have, especially Fish, and our own Boundary Bay.

Six beers down and my final glass of 5c, next up is Schlichte. I'm trying to decide whether to send my spare cash to Burn for the damascus stiletto or doing the "smart" thing and send it to Portugal. Heres the Burn....
