That picture wasn't taken in Utah, nothing in Utah looks like that. My guess is somewhere in the South, especially since the box shown is a customs inspected package, which mostly happens in the south.

They've apparently changed their recipe. At least somewhat recently. I had a flask of it at LoucheFiesta. It tasted a little better but I still don't like it.

On that note, I'll add that I too recieved a box from Germany today. It did not come from a recommended vender and I will not say their name as I do not want to sound like a shill. I only ordered from them because they were cheap...REALLY cheap, and I figured it was worth some risk. The brand offered was Mr. Jekyll. (Before you vomit, realize that I'd never tried it and was curious because it was so cheap.)

Now the point of the story--this box was shipped via regular mail, and the word "Filterated Czeckerland Xit" was clearly marked on the package in three different places. Still it arrived entirely intact. No customs tape or anything. I was amazed. It just goes to show that while some shipments may be siezed from time to time, customs does not seem to be actively seeking out absinthe (or Filterated Czeckerland Xit for that matter).

Or maybe they just figured that all the THUJONE!!!-this stuff has nothing to do w/the buzz from absinthe, NOTHING!!!!-this stuff has nothing to do w/the buzz from absinthe, NOTHING! would likely finish me and they'd have one less importer to deal with.
