Try to explain it as best as you can in terms of what you mean when you say you get 'secondaries'...

For me.
An extra flushing and warmth. Nothing major, but a definate 10-15 minute glow. On it's rare occurance, the duration is about 10 mintues.
There's also another side effect of drinking absinthe that I
always get with the good stuff. A clear headed buzz.
It's a good "alcohol" buzz without the sloppy-ness. I can type, do work, and stay up all night. It's not until the 4th+ glass that I get sloppy or tired.
That's it for me.

BINGO!!! Same here and I haven't experienced that in a long time.
La Fee used to do that to me. Like I said though, I haven't had La Fee in 9 months or so.
I wonder if I'd still get that?
As for the clear headed buzz with the good stuff, I felt that as well recently...

Hmmm.. very hard to describe accurately, but let's see.. after most of one glass of a particularly effective absinthe (Can you spell F-e-l-i-x?), it's much like a mild euphoria. I've never experienced the vaunted "clear-mindedness". It's not how I react to the herbs, I suppose. Although I really hesitate to say this, because I don't want to promote misunderstanding - it feels like I've smoked a mild joint.
How long does it last? One glass: 15 to 20 minutes and then absolutely no alcohol (or any other effect after that. Two glasses: 30 to 45 minutes; Any more than two: same as two, but with lingering effects of the alcohol.
Another question that pops up occasionally.. If you drink absinthe regularly, is the secondary effect diminished, or does it take longer to feel? YMMV, but for me - no. It's the same now as it was over two years ago when I started, and I drink it every day.

Only once have I had secondaries. It was a clear buzz... two glasses Versinthe La Blanche and one glass Segarra.
Last night, I had a glass of Nemesinthe #4, four glasses of Felix and one of Swizzle Rouge in less than an hour... No secondaries.

First: a secondary isn't really a secondary for me. It's not like I get drunk and then something more. It's just a different way of getting drunk. More pleasant than with any other kind of booze. The term "buzz" seems most appropriate to me.
An important characteristic: when drunk, I turn up the volume on my stereo, since my hearing somehow gets poorer. With absinthe, I don't need that - I hear the details better. Now that's something for hi-fi geeks to consider.

For me ... it's that clear headed buzz, along with being light sensitive. One thing I personally notice is colors seem just slightly more vibrant .... like the shining through leaves .... mostly greens and reds. And I HATE watching TV after drinking ... I prefer music or conversation.

I get them a fair amount stronger then most of my friends, and it seems like most of you guys too. Guess I am one of the lucky ones.
Firstly, UE doesn't give them. Only Le Fee so far. UE's give me a clear-headedness, and a different kind of buzz, but nothing along the lines of Le Fee.
Okay, so with that out of the way, a 'Good Le Fee Secondfairy' to me is. . .
A heightened sense of awareness, stronger perception, and a VERY intense non-alcohol buzz. My body will still feel drunk, but it all stops at about my next. My face doesn't get that 'pulled down' feeling that drunk-drunk gives ya. My mind and brain feel fine, clear, alert, and with-it. Also, I don't slur when I talk, regardless of how many I had. 5 strong glasses, and nothing.
That is 'about' it for me.

A period of around 20mins of increased perception of sound (and some visual -once watching realplayer visualizations were intense). Usually, I find my mind races and I tend to jabber a bit

and my discussions with people can become a bit more tangentle.

No, it's just that when I sit down to read a book, I like to read writing by people who know how to write well. Unfortunately, you don't seem to qualify. Either that, or you don't bother to look over what you've written to correct the inevitable abuses of syntax, spelling, and punctuation that all of us mere mortals make. Either way, I couldn't be bothered to try to decipher all of that scribbling. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this.

Back on topic. Secondfairies hit me slow. The first 1/4 of the 1st glass there are none. Then there is a slight hum in the background and the lights become very vivid and wavey. By the end of the first glass the hum has something discernable in it, but not quite understandible. The lights are now wavey and flickering.
By the end of the second glass the lights are now swirling around as if they have a life of there own. The hum has become intermittent roars and hisses, continuing to have a quality I can't quite pin down.
The third glass brings the real fun. The light is now swirling so fast as to bring out the truth, it isn't light but opacities in the room, swirling around, swirling around, swirling around my head. The hum is vivid whispers, obvious whispers but too fast to understand.
By the fourth glass the opacities stop occasionally, allowing me to visualize them in-whole. They are fairies, sweet fairies (usually green, but the occasional purple and orange ones visit). The are whispering to me to kick the dog, break the window, light poop on fire on my neighbors porch. Those damned fairies, ALWAYS trying to get me in trouble!
The fifth glass provides me with a "wide-awake" drunkeness. Obviously drunk, but more alert and awake than with other drunks. This also happens with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th glass sometimes as well.

I think most of our 2ndaries are yammering on alot about nothing and forgetting how to spell words like "dog" and "car".
I think those 2ndaries come from the wormwood casks used in making absinthe.

It's true, I read it myself.
"I have had absynth, you can still buy the proper stuff in European countries, a friend brought it back from a trip (no pun intended) but I can't remember where he got it.
Absynth is not made from wormwood, it is stored in wormwood casks which react with the drink itself, or so I have been told. The absynth we can buy in this country is exactly the same drink but it has not been stored in wormwood casks, still tastes great though" - Caradoc
Were it not for his knowledge of absynth, I would be lost.

I don't get a noticable secondary from any Un Emile, in fact I have a problem even getting drunk from it(maybe that is what some would deem a secondary). La Fee is quite effective for making me stagger about and jabber about nothing of any importance(yes Mayor, I drink a lot of La Fee). Staroplzenecky gives me an acute catatonic effect.

Seriously, though I'd really like to know just what it is about La Fee that gives so many folks (me included) such noticeable secondaries. My reaction to it is exactly like yours, Raindog, and the friends to whom I've offered it usually have the same reaction.
The Emiles also affect me nicely.. Sapin the most intensely, then La Blanche which is just a little bit more pronounced than regular UE68. La Fee is something else, though.
