Well, I solved my problem.
I took a little of my newest arrival in a sample bottle which I conveniently emptied last night. Got a nice glass of ice, which promptly melted in the AZ sun. Improvised a little with a packet of sugar.
And voilà! I sipped a nice Pontarlier-style absinthe at my favorite neighborhood pub in the company of my girls.

...and?

I got a triple package of happiness to make the weekend grate.

Knowing the taste of cow balls it will prolly be the best sh-it I've tried.

Had a couple of Boulevard Zon (Belgian witbier-esque) -- not bad, a bit weakoverall but a wonderful flavor. Sampled Boulevard's Pale Ale this weekend and it is good, damned good, in fact! Also tried New Belgium's wheat beer and was sadly unimpressed.

Now having a tastey sample of a blanche -- still young but chewy good!
