Doesn't sound good. However, his e-mail promises "a relatively high thu-jone content, much higher than most French or Czeckerland absinthes."

I guess that makes it all worthwhile.

Product: Absinthe La Cour 89,9%
Contents: 70 cl
Cellar:

absinthe

Tasting Notes: La Cour absinthe: this new Spanish absinthe, from the southern Levante region, follows the new line in Spanish absinthes: relatively high alcohol volume, and a more subtle anis taste. All La Cour absinthes have the same recipe, only the alcohol volume changes. This absinthe can be best in a long drink or cocktail. Due to its high alcohol content we recommend a prudent consumption

LaCour is also included in a tasting set of Spanish Absenta: Mari Mayan, Deva 72, and a La Cour! 21210-7.gif (Birds of a feather?)

His absenta cocktail recipe with black current juice and Cava looks interesting, but I think I'll buy my own ingredients wink.gif

Sounds like the Spanish have concocted an oil mix to compete with the Czeckerland stuff. Czeckerland-MATE!

I wonder if that's the sort of thing Coors would put out. LaCoors?

man, I was going to quote various snippets from that, but ALL of it just cracked me up.

90% alcohol, and they call that 'relatively high alcohol volume'?

WTF is 'high'?
TheGreenOne
Anyone who drinks it is high.

Actually, you need to start that way or you wouldn't touch it in the first place.
