Although I don't remember much, I think I attended it. I sort of remember Hiram and Mrs. Hiram, Absomphe, Mrs. Absomphe, Green & Cloudy, Gasspectro, MCGreenGenes all attending (did I forget anyone?) There were also some familiar faces and some new faces. I don't remember any names.
Things I remember drinking: Pignon Nimes, BaMa Pontarlier (w/special coloration step), BaMa Lyon, Swiss Ninja Pontarlier, Felix LB (aged tail builder batch), Swizzle LB. Things I didn't try: Jade- the only REAL Burnt™ absinthe NO, Jade- the only REAL Burnt™ absinthe SV, HellBoy, some Logan Fils, BDF, VDF, some other commercial crap that I didn't pay attention to.
It is true - I passed out. I totally forgot to eat dinner that day, which is always a bad idea Thank god CeeGee and What's his fuck weren't there to take advantage of me!

For some reason I have a pretty good memory of what I drank: Jade- the only REAL Burnt™ absinthe Nouvelle-Orleans, Pernod 68 (I've been wanting to sample it for a while but didn't want to buy a bottle), Jade- the only REAL Burnt™ absinthe Vete Suisse, Pignon Nimes, Swizzle LB, Felix LB, an HG with Superman on the label and a sip of Logan Fils. I passed on a full serving of Logan Fils to avoid ending up like Batemaster.
We had some new people who hooked up with us after reading the Seattle Weekly article, but the guy who wants to control your drinking by adding ingredients to make you puke after 3 servings was thankfully not present.

You probably ate dinner and you probably didn't drink 12 drinks in 3 hours. That's why you remember.

I think I drank pretty much the same lineup as you did, Bater Boy...
I just left earlier, so I got to pass out in the car.

Sounds exactly like what I did at LF-04. No food, not enough sleep, and too many absinthes in a very short time . . .

If your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle.
It was a good time. We got a pretty decent crop of newbies this time. People with brains and shit. One of them turned out to be an absinthe antique collector who lives near me and thought he was the only serious absintheur in Seattle until he saw the article in the paper.
The highlight of the evening for me was Mrs. Hiram tucking Jack in (i.e.throwing a blanket over his passed-out ass) singing the Rupert the Bear song to him (in her cute British accent) and him singing along in a drunken stupor.

You have a Dutch wife with an English accent?
Rare. Very rare indeed. Usually the Dutch think they've got a perfect British accent before they've even tried to listen to a Brit. If their Dutch is "Poldernederlands", the result is rather comical.

I would have loved to have been there...but as some know, I had work...and I'm not the favourite there at the moment.
And I'm strongly encouraged not to book weekends off.
If I had better notice, I could have come!

Practically. Most were shot without a flash so I had to use my Grand Gif Wizard Special Powers to Photoshop them into usefulness. If you look at the raw photos, they're nearly black.
