The final book came out yesterday. Wife picked it up and is halfway done with it already. I will be starting it tonight myself. I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time not entirely happy that it is all near an end.

I felt the true end was fitting, but frustrating at the same time. The final battle could have been better, and patrick danville should have been in the story alot earlier if he was to "kill" the crimson king.

There should have been a picture of the crimson king on the balcony in the book, there wasn't.

Susannah's "death" was a bit lame.

The mordred story could have used a bit more rounding, at least his death anyways.

I almost wish the tower would have toppled. It would have made for a better ending.

But a fitting end to a fine series nonetheless.

I have been holding off finishing book six because friend decided to torture me by telling me 'hey, I got you book 7 for your birthday, so don't go buy it'...

That would be like me teling you folks 'hey, I just bought you a bottle of NO (the day it released), so don't go buy it... but I got it shitty-shipped ground, so it'll be a few... months.
