Still haven't had the first frost here ,
every thing's thriving;
Tomatoes , bell peppers, basil , and all.
I've got lettuce and onions and carrots ,
my asparagus is coming up again,
no frost in site
and if one comes this way
I'm covering everything ,
maybe it can last until Thanksgiving.

We got our first heavy frost about 6 weeks ago.
Several since then.
Including last night.
It's already snowed up on the hill.

Here in SoCal all weve had is rain these past weeks. Been great for all my winter crop seeds, they are just starting to poke through. I still have a few peppers and tomatos as well.

Got our first frost last night ,
I don't know if that's a record ,
but it's the first time I remember picking
lettuce
beans
and tomatoes
in November .
Saw the weather report
so I went out and picked everything .
Good thing I did ,
today it's all dead.

I live in an apartment.
I help out on the family garden/farm when I can, onacause I like fresh, organic produce, and I hate grocery store veggies.
The peppers, onions, squash, nad pumpkin were the last things we got. Michigan gets cold a lot earlier then some of your locales.
We grew 4 more varieties of hot peppers then usual this year, of which half did REALLY well, considering the shitty, cool summer we had.
My garlics did great too. should last almost through winter this year! geeked abut that.
Good to see (most) of you had good harvests this year, herbal and otherwise!

Sixty degrees and climbing in the Boston/Cambridge area, right now.
Last week at this time, it was snowing. We ended up with about an inch and a half accumulation. My birthplace received five inches of snow.
