SnakeHead
I just discovered Hound Dog Taylor and bought one of his CDs last week end. His high energy high distortion blues was exactly what I had been looking for as influence to start trying to teach myself guitar again.

The song, "Polar Opposites", by Modest Mouse is summing it up right now.

On ~Y~'s recommendation, I'm listening to this really cool band called Stillborn Sex Kittens.

I'm going to have to check out eBay to see if I can find anything of theirs.
~Y~
Be prepared to spend some cash! Their fans are loyal and will buy just about anything. I've already seen a bloody band-aid that the drummer wore on tour go for around 2K. yes1.gif

GreenGullet
Ennio Morricone's "Thrillers" soundtracks. His soundtracks to cheap Italian horror movies (giallo) are even better than his soundtracks to cheap Italian westerns.
