Another possibility for those of you not satisfied using the sink.

That's a nice fountain .... I may have to bid on that one, unless we have a direct source ...

I have the feeling Alandia might be able to help you with that. Drop them a line and ask. I could be wrong though.

Markus has the Libertine fountain listed on absinthe-distribution.com for 89 euros.

Depending what the one on Ebay gets up to (along with $49 shipping) it's hard to say what the better deal is....

Alandia says it's only 39 cm tall, which is just a little taller than the small Versinthe fountain.
The design is really nice though.
They also have a much taller, much more expensive "Bistro" fountain.

I love those 'absinthe sipping pipes'. That is for the 'I want to Trip Ballz' crowd that drinks absinthe to make the world like CGI.
Asshats.

Is 39 cm way too small? I've gotten out a ruler and that's... well... diminuitive, really.
But the design is quite lovely; much nicer than any of the others. And it claims the spigots are silver, instead of plastic.
... must not buy more absinthe stuff.

Yeah, the height is a worry of mine, otherwise, I like the design on it a lot. Oh, that and the fact that the reservoir looks awfully small. I'd want to cram a lot of ice into that fountains belly, and it looks a little on the 'slight' side.
Anyone seen one up close? Good sized?

The spigots look a lot like the ones on my Versinthe fountains .... plastic that's been "chrome" plated. If it was metal, that thing would probably cost $150 or so ...

As long as I have a sink to use, I won't be gettin a fountain. Just another expensive thing for me to knock over and break.

Yeah, I've got a big water filter with a spigot on it, in the fridge. Kneeling by fridge-glow and contemplating the mysterious fridge flora constitutes my "ritual." I know — cretin.
