From the author that brought us "The Da Vinci Code" there's "Angels & Demons". I've never read "The Da Vinci Code" but I do know that it's one of the most popular books around nowadays. Well, "Angels & Demons" is that book's prequel.
The story is mostly about The Illuminati, and though the author claims that most of the Illuminati and art info. in the book is factual, I find it hard to believe. I've heard very little about The Illuminati and what I have heard has been from conspiracy theories about the Freemasons. Looking into The Illuminati on the web doesn't yield much info., either. It would be nice to know what to believe in the book. I'm not sure if it goes against protocol but perhaps Hiram could enlighten us with some info.?
Putting questions about The Illuminati aside and suspending belief about the existence of antimatter, the book is actually quite an enjoyable mystery. The characters are enjoyable and, for the most part, believable. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to read mysteries.
Edit: I was also wondering if anyone else out there has read this book? or, even, "The Da Vinci Code"...

I've read Angles and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, and Digital Fortress. All are quite entertaining, but are merely fiction. There are factual elements in the books but they are just stories. There is no Illuminati...there is no Illuminati...there is no Illuminati....there is no Illuminati...there is no Illuminati...there is no Illuminati....you are getting sleepy....you are getting sleepy....you are getting sleepy...

We do, we do.

No. Absolutely not. Life is too short to read really bad books by really stupid people who think they're really smart.
