Not to be pushy or anything, and maybe their will be no vote. But anyway, has anyone thought of how and when the logo will officially be chosen?

Will there be nominations and then a poll thread with all the nominees displayed? The winner of the poll is then the new logo.

I'm just getting a little anxious as I put a lot of time and effort into my banner, with a focus on conciseness.

it is a lossless compression format (no funky jpg-style artifacts)... great image quality, small files...

Anyone know the correct width for the banner in pixels? I designed it at 650w x 70h, according to Nolamour's specs. I can easily re-format this fucker. Sancho, I'll definitely try the png format for posting.

Those specs were just spec-ulation and looked about right for the top of the screen. I suppose the logo could be any size, but you wouldn't want to take up the whole page.

The normal banner for website exchange is 486 x 60...but, this aint the normal website.

and this ain't a banner for weblinks... it's the site logo...

though many of the banners produced so far would make fine link banners...
