My smallest eyepiece focal length will yield 680x magnification -- too much, actually, for daytime seeing.

The smallest magnification only yields a 1° field of view with an apparent filed of view of 68° at a magnification of 58x (and that requires an eyepiece that looks like the Holy Handgrenade).

So it all depends on the size of and distance to your neighbours (and their visual magnitude, if they're very dim).
