I liked it. I thought it was good. However, I also liked Van Wilder, and thought it deserved an Oscar. But I thought Garden State was good on a way different level. That and Natalie Portman is cute as a button in it as well. But also liked the dead hamster scene, and the scene where the dude in the armor is walking through the house, that was awesome.

And yes, I searched, thinking that I'd heard of this movie, but didn't find it anywhere.
I have thoroughly (isn't that word just TOO LONG) enjoyed Zach Braff in Scrubs, and loved Natalie Portman since the Walmart baby movie, which still cracks me up, fucking Okie's, and think that the both of them were wonderful together.

Her best role is still Mathilda in "Leon".

Garden State was pretty good, but not great, IMHO. There was something a little too "cutesy" about it that got on my nerves slightly.

I haven't seen that yet, but from what I've heard, somehow I can't imagine it being "cutesy"...

I gotta be honest, I did think Garden State was "cutesy" in the fashion Rimmy mentioned, but I liked it anyway for some reason.
