I have tossed the idea out and it seemed to generate interest so.
Here are a few possible dates.
April 9th, 16th or 23nd. All are Saturdays to give some recovery time for the work week. I'd like to get some kind of consensus as to good or bad dates, if not I'll just pick one. One caveat, I may have to do some campaign work, which may also influence the date chosen.
Incidentally, I got this for my B-day, I think a Brisket may be in order. (you cant tell from the photo but its bigger than a Yugo)
Place would be my house in Alexandria, minutes from DC.

Someone please mail me some brisket.
Thanks.

I suppose you'd want it shipped fast, cold, or even both.
You are so demanding!

Just buy it a seat on a plane and fly it out to me.

Right. I'll ask the wife about flying across the country to give a big-bosomed, frizzy-haired lush a piece of brisket. Even if I convinced her that "brisket" wasn't a euphemism for something else, I still don't think I'd be successful.
DCLF or not, the next time you get out here, stop by and I'll make you brisket. (Or something equally yummy.)

First of all, who said anything about you flying out?
I just said to buy a seat for the brisket.
As for the next time I'm in DC, now that the family picked up and moved the trailer west, I dunno when I'll be back out there again, damnit.
Y'all will have to come to LF05 and make me a brisket, in the event that you can't get a ticket for it.

Just drink the Black Tunnel. It's still at your house.

Alexandria? Well, hell. That's a hop, skip and a jump from D.C. Hell, I feal sorry for D.C. fuckers. Taxation without representation. What a bitch.
I once ate a gourmet meal at the Red Lobster in Alexandria. I like Olde Towne better, toe.
Yes. I think I do.

I like Old Town. The 22nd might be good. I'm 4 hours from D.C. and I know a couple of loungers live even closer.

Figures. I'm in Richmond, but I'm working every Saturday in April unless my transfer goes through, wish me luck. BTW, all of the dates you listed are Fridays(?).
*Don't forget* the Toulouse-Lautrec and Montmartre exhibit at the National Gallery will be going on then, excellent destination for a class-trip.

Also Hans how late do you work? This would likely be in an evening. If you get out early enough, Richmond is close enough to catch us still drinking.
