Just wondering what everyone does and if there are benefits to one way or the other. Odd Topic yes but I am bored and very curious... ^_^; (And was thinking about getting a vacuum device...)

I just leave the bottle open and throw the cork away. The airspace of a whole room makes it age faster.
Makes the room smell good too.
I used that technique with a bottle of Vintage Pernod Fils, it aged out nicely within a year of removing the cork.

I just poured mine through a Brita filter. It aged it in 5 minutes.

Those vacuum devices will make your cork larger, but the effect is only temporary.
