I went to the NGA this afternoon to see the Montmartre exhibit. Everyone who can should attend, it's impressive to say the least. I'm one of those art-geeks who tries to relive the creation of a piece, and I tell you, standing inches from Van Gogh's absinthe still-life and putting myself at the table looking through his eyes, damn. The Chat Noir portion is spectacular.
