For me, Christmas is like slipping on a patch of ice and slamming the back of your head of the sidewalk. And then, some nice fellow throws you a quarter, because he thinks your a drunken bum begging on the street.

- Oddly enough the license plate on one of my cars is JDaniel. There's a rumor about town that I'm the last remaining heir to the JackDaniels fortune (I keep getting asked that question)... Unfortunately it's not true. The plate was an ego trip to honor my DJ personna wayyyyy back when.

Nothing says Christmas like my grandmother's plum pudding with "hard
sauce".As a kid I could'nt understand why pudding required a fork,
and I could'nt figure out what the hell "hard" sauce was.

Of course now that I am all grown up I know hard sauce is made with
hard liqour :alc, and that's why the grown-ups would only let me have a little.

Just as well.The sauce has the look and texture of snot with the taste of cough
medicine. Plum pudding is difficult enough to choke down without the
delightful topping.

Right up there with fruitcake. And mincemeat pie.

I like to make bread pudding out of the raisin bread.

That and a nice lemon sauce with rum in it is the cat's meow.

Fortunatly for me, no one else in the family likes it so I get to eat it all.

Bread pudding is yummy.Lose the sauce.(No meows. )
