Oh Boy did I lose it or what? I crashed and burned and didn't even see it coming. My last memory was getting a cigar in the kitchen (about 10:30) but I don't remember lighting it. Apparently my wife got me out of there around midnight so I wouldn't be found out in the lawn in the morning. I haven't hydroplaned like that in 20 years! I spent the rest of the night in the hotel bath with the shower raining on me in pitch blackness unable to move for about 3 hours.
Anyway, I'm pissed off at myself for not getting to know some of you a little better before I went blank. A lost opportunity. You all make one hellova social group.
The absinthe selection was truely overwhelming. The food was great, the hosts were wonderful and I had a good time - although it was a little short lived. It was great to know what you normals look like.
Did Sarah get her jewelry for being good? Abby, I know you kept everybody in line after my vacancy. The vintage stuff was interesting but the pastis was the best of them.
