Post-absinthe, I believe, but I like it.

Kirk
Is that spoon real thick, and engraved on the edges?
Crosby
It’s thick, stamped aluminum. The edges aren’t engraved, just marks left from the manufacturing process.
Rimbaud
Good idea, though.

I can hear the cogs in Kirk's mind turning...
CelticGent
don't use sex as a weapon
Rimbaud
Suck my cog.

You prefer a weapon as sex?
CelticGent
fear my love gun
TheGreenOne

CelticGent
oh, you don't really have to fear it.

on second thought, i guess even derringers can be dangerous at close range.
TheGreenOne
Why take chances?
CelticGent
ever play from the Land of Bogs roulette?

Rimbaud
Is that your line for picking up Girl Scouts?
Oscar
Isn’t being from the Land of Bogs risky enough?

Why take chances?

Well, no. I don't know how. Can you show me?

Brownies taste better.
Rimbaud
Especially when they have nuts on them.
Rimbaud
Ask CG.

no, usually all that takes is "yes, i'll take a box of thin mints" and a nice chloroform scented gloves.

actually, i just thought of a game that could be called from the Land of Bogs roulette.

have a tray with 6 pints, blindfold yourself, and drop a box of x-lax in one.

add shower & shave, & it sounds like a tuesday morning.

New absinthe fountain from Frenchman Phil, coming October 2005:

Kirk
I hope Peter sells enough Artimae to get me one by Christmas, anyone want to buy my first one, you can have it for $200 cash at L.F.
CelticGent
PIMP!
Kirk
I don't know what you said,
cuz I'm ignoring you,
but I have this strange impulse to buy a bigger hat.
CelticGent
ha!
Kirk
I broke the digital camera Oscar gave me,
I can't afford a new one.
Anyone want to trade me a good digital camera for some really cool stuff?
Kirk
I know some people like to trade up all the time,
I just need a good used one.
I need something I can get up close shots with.
Kirk
my new spoons
What do you think?
Grim
I think we're witnessing your legacy.

Absolutely stunning.
Kirk
Thanks Grim, I actually stole the design:
I went out side and got a live plant,
brought it in and pressed it
against a sheet of wax,
then I cut it out and made a spoon.
So the design was taken from nature.
Le Gimp
Shit Kirk, that is sweet!
Grey Boy
Un-fucking-believable!
Oscar
Again I’m amazed at Kirks ability to fuse Art, Nature and Design. Kirk you have an uncanny ability to interact and understand each of them.

Your work inspires us all.
Kirk
Go on now,
I'm bad for ya.
Absomphe
Simply awesome, Kirk.

Any future absinthe compendiums won't be complete without examples of your art.

Kirk
I was thinking I might end up in a forensic psychology class first.
Louchelooker
God damn Kirk! Those are fucking amazing! I love 'em. Are you still making the elephant grille? If so then I may have my honey get me one for my bday or something.
jaded prol
Beautiful indeed, both the spoons and the grilles.

Inspired and inspiring!

I am fascinated every time I use your grille, Kirk. You are truly an inspiration who keeps on inspiring! Wonderful work on your two most recent!!!!!!
Grey Boy
Let's get this thread alive again...

Thanks to a very generous friend
I was able to trade for this wonderful set:
Oscar
God Damn! That's a nice trade.
Wild Bill Turkey
Were any stitches required, after the "trade"?
Grey Boy
No,
Like I said, generous.
A true person knows the value of artisanship,
and how to reciprocate.
