Sorry, had to get that out of my system.
OK, Thursday night... um, Wogger and I got really drunk, to the amusement of everyone else. I remember "resting" with my head slumped and my eyes closed, and everyone was "he's out" and I'm like "no i'm not" and for some reason they were not convinced. My ass was put to bed, with the rest of me a few minutes later.
Mojitos suck, but the Mayor makes a good one.
Who the FUCK can have a thick down blanket on their bed in 80F heat and god knows how much humidity? I slept on top of the blanket and probably scarred poor Wogger for life when she came through for some odd reason.
Let's see... Friday ruled. The first bar of the pub crawl was awesome... good beer, Lars buying shots, TGO buying us all a round, (well, some of us). It is good to see the Loungers take a place over.
From the looks of the people on the stoops of the houses we walked by, a drunken 20+ strong line of white people walking through the hood is NOT an everyday occurance.
Saturday, I was so busy talking to people I did not even have much time to drink. Yes, that busy. It was great. Let's see... now I know why everyone raved over Slate last year. I wrestled a Loogie and held my own pretty well. You know the deal, he has wrestling skills and is in shape, I weigh a lot and have some muscle...and outweigh him by 110 pounds or so.
Asta! Squirrel! And up the tree she goes. I got video, maybe we can get it posted.
Jack showed up. No one was suprised, but many were happy.
A new HG king was crowned, a duo is now a triumvirate.
Dancing at the gay bar. ~Y~ teaching me some basic disco. The walk to the hotel Friday. Seeing TGO try to concentrate so hard he was sweating. Meeting Eric. Stealing the Mayor's pontica. Walking home with Peeps and six blocks from the mini-Mansion, a torrential downpour. No sense in running, no use. Four meals in four days, one pint glass of Chartreuse VEP and six glasses of absinthe and a LOT of beer later, and I miss it already.
More later, and I took about 80 pics, which I will have some of up in the next day or two.

Watching Jack work was a treat.
The man was sitting almost horizontally,
getting "QWERTY" stamped on his forehead by the keyboard
surrounded by all of the drunks who still could stand,
and still writing code; making xit all funny like.

I saw cameras only a handful of times.
Friday everyone was too busy getting acquainted and reacquainted.
Saturday everybody went into free-fall, excepting poor Abby
who spent the day emptying her stomach.
Good job getting photos in among all of that.

The dancing was a hoot.
~Y~'s got the moves.
Cros got up and danced, after much wheedling,
which made all of the boys swoon and the girls' palms perspire.
Loogie couldn't get enough of it.
It took a two-day moshathon and a tussle with the Skeets
to burn off the go in that boy.

For those who couldn't make it, here's a quick rundown of the party:
Abby, for reasons beyond her control, had to be completely sober all Saturday. Our deepest condolences...
Crosby disappeared. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, please contact his family or next of kin.
Dinky bought breakfast for all us non-pussies that outlasted the moonlight.
Eric didn't bring his bass so we couldn't jam together.
Peeps made the best potato salad I've ever tasted.
Faux-beaux was shy and quiet, and hence, is now an Admin.
Goose helped keep the testosterone at a non-lethal level.
Green One enlightened us on some interesting legal matters...
Grimmy needed to get his ass here, and didn't. Pussy.
Gullet, besides getting mugged, had the bright idea of yelling out racial slurs in a quite "urban" part of town.
Hiram managed to get into an argument about Alchemy with Kirk, which involved a good 20 minutes of raised-voice ranting on both sides, in which neither person had any differing opinions.
Jack reminded everyone to
Kirk had a good flirt with just about everybody, including our newest muscle-bound Admin. Then we all stuffed our faces with his delicious sausage.
Lars lactated.
Loogie had some fun stories about some trash he picked up in Boston.
The Mayor made sure everyone Backed It Up
Prol had a nice hat.
Rabbit was pretty cool, when he was conscious.
Rimmy left early with one of the best bottles of booze there. Bastard.
Skeeter got hours upon hours of delight in making the dog chase after imaginary arboreal rodents.
Twolie needs to learn how to do more memorable things when drunk.
Vibe does too.
~Y~ even managed to turn a few heads at the gay bar.
There might have been other people there. You can't expect me to remember everything, right?

Arrived at the mini Mansion Saturday morning at about 12 something or the other.
Pub crawl had been in full E double F E-C-T for a good couple'a hours.
Blew up Peep's, Louchie's, and Abby's cellies to try to locate their whereabouts.
Finally got a hold of Louchie.
"Hey, I just arrived in A-town."
"Who's this?"
"Vibe."
"Who??"
"VIBE."
"WHO!?!?!?"
"It's atomicvibe!"
"I know, I'm just fucking with you. Where are you?"
"At your house."
"Alright...hang tight."
<click>
I was expecting a lounger to come get me.
Oh no.
It was the whole fuckin' group.
And only minutes after talking with Backs.
Awesome.
Then some creepy, old, bald fuck comes rushing up to me.
I stick out my hand for a formal greeting, and he says:
"Fuck that hand xit," and gave me a big 'ol Lounge hug.
Right then and there, I knew I was gonna like this guy.
And I did.
And everyone else I met for the first time.
And I'm not quite positive, but I think I may have ingested some alcohol this weekend.
I may have even gotten inebriated.

I wish I could've kept Bunny Boy.
I'll cherish his permanent silhouette in the grass.
I have a permant impression of Bunny Boy on my shoulder too.
Friday night is something of a blur. It started and ended with a Carmel Apple Tini scattered with a few beers and Shots, lots of them. Having never before been east of Nebraska, took me a few hours to realize that it's not called Alientown due to the shiny little flashes of different colored lights all about at dusk- They are actually fireflies. OOOhhhhh the pretty, pretty lights.
Y and Abby's boob comparison had many enthralled. TGO mildly frightened from a peek into my brain.
Being dragged off the dance floor by a Neandertal resembling Skeet. Suddenly reduced to a fit of giggles and finding it necessary to lean on the arm dragging me backward..."But baby, you have a better chance with him than I do." responded to by several grunts. Which was made up for by dancing with me several times later.
so many new faces in such a short time. Something about playing pool at Candidas. Wearing Kirks drink on my dress. Snarling at Vibe, see I'm not a lurker.
