To LL and Peeps, I don't even know where to start. You not only made it all possible, you made it grate.
To Kirk, for being one of the coolest people I ever met. Plus the sausage, water (yes water) and everything else.
To Hiram -- for trying to making the world a better place.
To Eric for going through hell to get there and being more of an artist than most will ever know.
To Skeets and Goose for being two of the best people I've ever met.
To Rimmy, it just wouldn't have been the same without you.
To Slate -- Damn I'm glad I got the chance to meet you.
To AndrewT, who thought culture would come to the Lounge?
To Loogie, I need to go out and drinks some beers with you.
To Vibe - you rock.
To ~Y~ just because.
To Abby, I wouldn't have made it there without you.
To Prol, Gullet, Dinky, Cros, DaRabbit, Toolie, and even Lars. Not to mention everyone I'm too sober to remember. Special thanks to everyone who contributed to the bar.
And of course to Da Mayor for being real busy at LF (not to mention that red box).

Yes, thanks. I think I found another soul sister, Peeps. LL, for opening your house to all us drunk phucks and the best damn time I've had in a long time.
For the Mice that Abby brought along with for the trip from KOP to the Mini Mansion. What else could those "eep"'s and "WWWWHHHHEEEAAAA"'s been coming from in the back seat.
And especially for the female bonding Peeps, Y and Abby.

Back on topic for just a moment:
I can't express my gratitude enough to the Mayor and Peeps for their amazing hospitality. It was an incredible four days and demented three nights in a beautiful home in an awesome town. I'd move to Atown in a heartbeat if the climate wouldn't melt my wife.
LouchedLiver: You rock really, really hard. You're a mensch. Thanks for all the historic tidbits.
Peeps: You're beautiful; your whole face lights up when you smile, and so does the room. Also, you got a great rack; but you know this.
You two are very, very, lucky.
Slate: The definitive gentleman. I remember babbling some nonsense about Gnosticism. I think I may have stumbled onto a Cosmic Truth, but I can't remember it.
Kirk: You are the man. Amazing silver; amazing sausage; You just need to brush up on your math skilz: 50 does not equal 22. Are we still sweethearts?
I won't go into the long list, I'll just sum it up this way: I never met a Lounger I didn't like. I'm glad to have been able to get to know some of you better and had some great conversations. I also blathered a bit. I may have pontificated.
Show the fuck attention. Now let's back it up.

Hey kids.
Took me a while to get home and get caught up at work.
I would also like to express my sincere, immeasurable thanks and love to Peeps and Liver. They're the bestest.
And thanks to Skeet and Goose for going WAY outta their way to pick me up on the way to the party.
Thanks to everyone who showed up and made me laugh, especially those who managed to do it in between hurling sessions.
Thanks to those who sent goodies.
And finally, thanks to United Airlines / US Airways for their incompetence, allowing me another day in Atown to make up for Saturday.

My meeting of the loungers- By Lars Peart.
Louchie- Hospitable (as opposed to hostile), fun, inviting, and warm... well, we were all warm. Fucking humidity. Thank you for having me, and thank you for beating on Gullet instead of me. I hate being 'that dude'. It was a pleasant change to jump in on someone else.
Gullet- Speaking of which, thank you for taking attention away from me. I appreciate it buddy. And the stories. Those rocked. I haven't been mugged in years, and now that I live in Minneapolis (home of lovable, peaceful protestants that are too boring to be much trouble) I doubt i'll be getting many more good 'I got mugged last night' stories. It was a pleasure eating breakfast with you and Dinky.
Dinky- Speaking of which, Breakfast With Dinky made seeing the sun arise whilst plastered worth it for the first time since college. I rather enjoyed the stagger to the 3 diners. Also, thanks for the chat the night before. It was good to get to talk to you and ~Y~...
~Y~- Speaking of whom, Thanks for kicking such ass, and for forgiving me my former hobbies... yes, you heard it. ~Y~ took 2 days to put 2 and 2 together to realize that I am the former soft-core porn purvayor. Fortunately for ~Y~, I won't put the pictures she did for me up on the internet... not for money at least. You secret is safe with me. Well, me and Rabbit.
Rabbit- Speaking of Rabbit, what a fun little dude. I call him little dude because when I met him, I was certain he was younger then me. Turns out, he is just fresh-faced... which has got to be difficult considering his penchant for getting bombed and sleeping on lawns. Listen, and listen good... NO ONE makes a better lawn ornament then Rabbit. The few times I went outside and didn't see him on the lawn assed out, I got down-right scared. Oh, and thanks for the shower. It felt almost as good as looking at Peeps.
Peeps- Speaking oh which, Peeps is smooth as silk, and twice as nice. Hiram was on the nose when he described her earlier. The nicest, friendliest, most light-up-a-room-with-a-smile type of chic you'll ever meet. An absolute pleasure meeting you finally. Too bad you didn't seem to get smashed-assed drunk like Abby did.
Abby- Speaking of who, poor, poor Abby. Abby, I feel so sorry for you in your missing out on Saturday with 'the flu'. I felt so bad every time I turned around to see her, hunched over, miserable, and wishing she could get a glass into her (and keeping it down). I will personally hook you up with whatever you wanna drink the next time we run into each other. On the plus side, I DID get some great pics from friday night to prove that you DID have fun, : ). Well, you and Skeeter that is.
Skeeter- Speaking of which, Skeeter is just this hella-cool, kick-ass, teddy-bear of a cool dude. Nice, smart, friendly, inviting, and delightful to be around. You are like the male version of Peeps. People just feel better when you are nearby... but not too near, cause he sweats like a mofo. Good thing we had plent to drink, thanks to Jack.
Jack- Speaking of Jack, this fucker greeted me by punching me in the balls, and then hugging me. Jack, you know how to make a guy feel special... and hard. Wait til LCLF. I'm bringing my short-shorts. GREAT hootch, GREAT hair-stylin (until day 2), and GREAT to meet ya! You're SR was my fav of the weekend. I think I had more then my fair share of it. Don't worry though, I gave it all back. Back to Louchie that is. Ya know, it seemed every time I wanted to give it back, Loogie was in the bathroom though.
Loogie- So, speaking of him, he is the FIRST person I want to thank for the whole trip, for waiting all fucking afternoon in shitty Newark for me to arrive. THANK YOU for driving me there bro. Major props. You became my favorite garbage truck driver in about 5 minutes. Go Sox. And I suppose if I thank Loogie for getting me there, then it only serves to thank AndrewT for the ride home so...
AndrewT- Speaking of rides, AndrewT hooked my sorry ass up with a ride back to the airport, a whole hour away from the booze, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. In addition to that, I think we can ALL agree that Andrew 'Life of Leisure' T totally added the much-needed element of culture and class to our lowly event. While he may have been the youngest and shortest of us there, he had a huge heart, and a great wit about him. I still owe you an empanada, dude. Come up to Minnie, and I'll make ya a dozen to take on your next roadtrip.
(okay, I just got back from the tables, lost a bit, and am no longer in the mood... I'll have to continue the rest later. But I meant all the good stuff I typed above earlier. You guys rock. My cards... didn't)

We'll now go home, try to remember, sleep, and lick our wounds. Some may be scarred for life. Other's just glad to sleep in air conditioned comfort.
Remember it's only a drink and this is just the fucking internet. Friends are RL people that are there for you... no matter what kind of drunken nonsense you think you've commited (I speak from a lot of drunken nonsense experience).

Thank you, Peeps and BF'nB, for opening hearts and hearth to the drooling masses. You are the hosts to end ALL, and it was a fab weekend. By Sunday night, I was besotted with everyone, including a couple of loungers I hadn't met last year and expected to hate. Which only goes to prove that you can't judge an asshole by his posts. Consider me humbled and chastened.

In no particular order:
AndrewT, your impromptu concert was amazing, and a treat. Thank you.
Abby, Y, and Goose, I'm over-the-moon for you gals. You keep things from coming unglued.
Loogie, I love watching you in high gear. I'm giving you my miracle hangover pills next year, in the hopes of keeping you airborne (
Hangoverstopper.com )
Gullet, please don't let Friday's misadventures discourage you from braving the next fest.
A-Vibe, you've got a first-class heart. You light the place up.
Skeets, better late than never. You a honey.
GreenOne, I'm delighted to have met you, and happy we got to blab some.
Hiram, you
did stumble onto a cosmic truth. The precise details escape me now, but I recall being impressed by your vast powers of abstract thought. BTW, wormwoodsociety looks great. Can we chat about forum access?
Dear Rimmy, you have my bonded word that next time we'll stick to upbeat topics!
Jack, I circled you warily last summer. Badd convinced me to move in closer this year. He was, as usual, right.
I thought our passion had peaked last summer, Kirky. But you proved me wrong, my red-hot darling!
With his permission, I'm modeling my next incarnation on Dinky.
Lars, you seem to have all your "t"s crossed and your "i"s dotted. I envy that. And you're a fine man besides.
Rabbit, I regret that we didn't chat more this year. My loss.
Prol, I was happy to see you. The lounge needs august figures such as we.
Eric, you answered my litany of questions with the patience of a saint. Thanks. I'll PM you with a few more.

O.k. I was gonna wait 'til I got home to start dishing out the thanks, but fuck it, I'll start now since it's 8:30 in the morning and no one else is up yet.
Thanks Liver and Peeps for being two of my bestest friends, the crashing pad (w/parking spot), food, beer, absinthe, Dorney Park, and Woodies.
Thanks Jacky for being a cool-assed-crunked-up-muthafucka and sending a big ass red box with lots of sweet, sweet goodness. Without it I think we may have been eating beer all weekend.
Thanks Skeets for bruising me up you big lug.
Thanks Goose for not getting mad when I bruised (a little) Skeets up.
Thanks Abby for being Abby. Sorry you couldn't enjoy the 'sinthe, but at least Friday wasn't a bust.
Thanks Rimmy and Pheauxbeau for making me think I was really, really, really drunk and seeing double all weekend. Oh sorry Admin Pheauxbeau, please don't clank me. I wasn't talking shit. Rimmy, I'll PM you about getting some beers in Sept.
Thanks Y and Rabbit for being the coolest people I know from Pennsylvania.
Thanks Lars for not bringing your Rush CD collection and making me listen to it all the way from Newark to A'town. (Even though I like Rush too.)
Thanks Gullet for letting me know that Wyoming is the richest state in the union.
Thanks AndrewT and Touley for hanging with us throughout the weekend and making it through Dorney park. (Love the pics.)
Thanks Slate for the incredible anti-hangover-pill advice and being the coolest, laid back dude anyone could know. You da man.
Thanks A-Vibe for the killa beetz on the speakers you be blastin'. Keep that Kangol jaunty.
Thanks Dinky for bringing the
keg to an absinthe party and the annoying cell-phone-green-flaming-cigarette lighter.
Thanks GreenOne for letting me know how some of the shit happens on the Hill. I think that's what we were talking about. I was pretty drunk during that conversation.
Thanks Hiram for the view of you in your undies in bed with Asta in the wee hours of the morn. I had to poke my eyes with a sharp stick until they bled for a little while. We'll have to go to a meeting if I make it out to the next LCLF, Worshipful.
Thanks Eric for putting up with the shitty ass airlines and actually making it to the party. It was good to meet ya'. If your touring up around Boston send me a PM and we'll have a drink.
Thanks Kirky you sausage king of Chicago. And your silver work is amazing man.
Thanks JP for not pulling a Prol this year. Glad you made it back home in the wagon.
Thanks to those that sent stuff. It was really needed. I really didn't want to eat beer all weekend.
(This list was listed in no particular order)
If I missed anybody I'm so sorry. Punch me in the crotch at the next fest. I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with everybody. Thanks for listening to me whine about my teeth hurting all weekend. They are just now starting to feel normal again. Thanks for putting up with my moshing in the bar. " That absinthe must be crap, look at the anemic louche", says I.
"Louche?", says Fro.
Turns out it only has a teaspoon or so of water in it.
