Man of La Mancha, broadway 2002 edition.
Maybe Linda Eder's cd that has her edition of I, Don Quioxte on it.
Why? Because I love most of the songs in that musical, and I haven't been able to find good versions on the net.
Since I only buy 1 cd about every 3 years, I am about due anyway.

Laika is really good. I've heard quite a bit of their stuff and enjoyed it all very much. I've been meaning to pick up one of their albums for a while now (leaning towards Good Looking Blues), along with the other 1000+ titles on my "list of CDs that I want to buy"....

Lars...
Two recommendations if your looking for something heavy to listen to:
Karp - Self Titled LP
Today Is The Day - In the Eyes Of God
I guarantee you will not regret purchasing either of these fine recordings....

Yeah, definitely pick it up! It's really good. I think Red House Painters are no more, but Sun Kil Moon pretty much picks up where RHP left off. Koz is still playing with the same drummer, and the RHP bassist plays on a few tracks as well.

I just got hosed from Tower Records - they over charged me and then hassled me for asking for the $5 back. I returned trudging through the snow (5 minutes, but still) and never a "thank you" or an "I apologize."
I bought "best of Bowie" and a New Order live DVD.
Soon come for more music DVDs.

Porcupine tree? How are they? Aren't they prog. rock of some sort?
My next CD will be Dream Theater's new album.
Actually, Lars, if you like heavy stuff *and* like Rush, do you have DT's "Scenes From a Memory"? Mike Portnoy's drumming is quite like Neil Peart's except for a little tighter and less fluid.

I guess you could say so. Sort of melancholic, dreamy rock with an occasional rough, noisy guitar sound to wake you up.
