How are you guys/gals introducing your friends to absinthe, what I mean is how do you start them off? Do you usually start them off with the better stuff or start them off with the lesser types and work your way up? For the last few friends I started them off on the "good stuff"(not the GREAT stuff you guys have) and it seems that most of them just don't like it at all and usually go no further. I think doing it like I have been is probably a mistake as it gives them no where to go but down.

I'm curious because I have a few more friends that are looking forward to giving absinthe a try but I want to try and give them the best experience I can. Thoughts?

If they like it that's fine. If not, it's just as well as it's an expensive vice.

I introduced about 8 people to Absinthe this weekend. Unfortunately, by the time we got to the bottle several of them were already bombed. 420 & Margs. They did like it!

I gave a small sample to a co-worker with instructions for proper preparation. I look forward to hearing what she thinks.
