I fucking hate Rush. Even when I was 16, I thought that 2112 was overblown and pompous. The bad hair, the whiney voice, the stupid neo-hobbit rock...no thanks.

War is ok, though. Their Latino-infused funk grooves have an honesty and humility that made them sound fresh and unique in an era when everything else was derivative. And I dug 'Lowrider.'
