This is a quote from the Boston Herald, I forget the date, that stated that some acid in star anise is a key ingredient in Tamiflu. Just one more reason to drink absinthe (made with Chinese star anise of course). Maybe the U.S. will legalize it to combat bird flu....yeah right.
