GB, glad to see CVB is still around, I don't keep up with them much anymore. David Lowery's wife used to waitress at one of my old hang-outs and he would come in once in awhile. When Cracker played Letterman, he was wearing a "Texas-Wisconsin Border Cafe" t-shirt, she still worked there at the time.
She was always a sweetheart, and he seemed like a down-to-earth guy. When Cracker started making it big, they bought a farm in the country, and I didn't see them anymore.

They have at least a dozen I'd say are among the best Blues/Rock songs period.
I still don't think there's a better rock song on the planet compositionally than The Beatles "A Day In The Life", but if you want something that just fucking rocks, it's Zeppelin hands down.

I went to see George Clinton last night.
He's a little haggard.
I don't think his eyes open anymore
and he sounds a little like he's been gargling shards.
Nonetheless, he may very well be the cutest man I have ever seen.
You cannot look at this man and be pissed off.
Even I can't.

Not to quote myself, but...
I can usually tell how drunk I was by the music I was listening to the night before.
This is a new level.
Country's usually the drunkest.
I think classical now surpasses that.
Who knew?
I was telling my best friend about it and she remarked, "I bet you were conducting."
