Blanchette is a Swiss-style, clear absinthe that yields a distinct aroma and flavor of anise and grande wormwood, with a background of alpine herbs. Like our other Jade absinthes, Blanchette is crafted entirely by hand in the antique copper absinthe stills in the Combier distillery.

I heard it does taste very good, with an excellent wormwood profile, however.

I had a taste of it over the weekend. It was pretty good. It didn't get sinked. It was a bit on the yellow side, however.

Yup, had some over the weekend. I too will concur on the yellowish-ness. Still, it's a darn good absinthe, with a heavy wallop of wormwood and fennel.
I plan on buying a bottle. The price isn't bad either.

It's probably from the wormwood flowers. If they've got any seeds in them that will happen.
